Lights in MuPAD and JavaView
Default lights in JavaView
On this page a default JavaView lights are shown. Some modifications are suggested. For all examples on this page a white parametric surface is used. This way, we may see better interaction of lights with the surface.
MuPAD
The original image developed in MuPAD.
JavaView
The same model in JavaView. However, all lights created in MuPAD were removed and JavaView default lights were applied. The scene is a bit dark. In order to improve the lighting it might be necessary to add one or more lights, or increase intensity of the existing lights. However, this last solution could create deeper shadows.
JavaView
The same model again. This time an additional ambient light, with intensity 0.2, was added. The final result is similar to the image obtained in MuPAD.
